Kale Smoothie

Lately my favorite smoothie ingredient has been kale. I am also growing my own kale in my green house at the cottage.

Kale Smoothie (serves 2-3)

  • 1 big kale leaf or few smaller ones
  • 1 organic banana
  • 1 organic orange or orange juice (if you are using orange you can add some water if needed)
  • handful of ice cubes
  • optional: 1 ts of Smoothie Mix

Peal the banana and orange. Mix all together in a blender. Enjoy for breakfast or snack.

So this was my breakfast today. Plus some ice coffee, of course.
