Lately my favorite smoothie ingredient has been kale. I am also growing my own kale in my green house at the cottage.
Kale Smoothie (serves 2-3)
- 1 big kale leaf or few smaller ones
- 1 organic banana
- 1 organic orange or orange juice (if you are using orange you can add some water if needed)
- handful of ice cubes
- optional: 1 ts of Smoothie Mix
Peal the banana and orange. Mix all together in a blender. Enjoy for breakfast or snack.
So this was my breakfast today. Plus some ice coffee, of course.
